What we collect
- Your account: username, email, a hashed password, profile photo, bio, city and the settings you choose.
- What you create: posts, comments, reactions, messages, group chat, events, marketplace listings and polls.
- Feedback you send us: what you write in the feedback form, your optional mood rating, the page you were on and your browser/screen size (so we can reproduce bugs). Public ideas are shown on the idea board; private ones only to the duno team.
- Usage statistics: which pages are viewed and which features are used (for example “shared a post” or “searched for X”), the site that referred you, and whether you're on mobile or desktop. We store a hashed version of your IP address only to prevent abuse — never the IP itself.
Why
To run duno, keep it safe from spam and scams, and decide what to build next. We review anonymised summaries of feedback and usage (with no names, emails or IPs) — sometimes with the help of AI tools — to prioritise improvements.
Your choices
- If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we don't record usage statistics for you.
- You can edit or delete your posts at any time, turn off comment emails in Settings, and ask us to delete your account at hello@duno.com.
- Cookies: we use a login session cookie, an optional “remember me” cookie and, if you arrived through a friend's invite link, a 30-day cookie that credits them when you join. We also use StatCounter for basic visitor counts.
We don't sell your data.
